We collect information you provide when creating an account, submitting candidates, or using the platform, including name, email address, ABN, and billing details. We also collect usage data to improve the platform.
Your information is used to operate the Placera platform, process payroll and invoicing, communicate with you about placements and timesheets, and comply with Australian legal obligations.
All data is stored on servers located in Australia. We use industry-standard encryption (256-bit AES) in transit and at rest. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We share data only with service providers necessary to operate the platform (e.g. payroll processing, invoicing). We may disclose information when required by law or regulatory authority.
Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. Contact us at privacy@placera.com.au to exercise these rights.
We use essential session cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
We implement industry-standard security measures including 256-bit AES encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit. Access controls enforce role-based permissions. Recruiters can only see their own placements, clients can only see their own contractors, and admin access is restricted to authorised @placera.com email addresses. All sessions expire after 8 hours of inactivity. We conduct regular security audits and penetration testing.
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide services and comply with legal obligations (including tax, superannuation, and employment records retention under Australian law). When you request account deletion, we remove personal data within 30 days while retaining anonymised financial records as required by law.
We use Supabase (database hosting, Australia region), Vercel (application hosting), and Resend (transactional email) as service providers. Each provider is bound by data processing agreements. We do not use any analytics, advertising, or tracking services. No data is shared with or sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
Candidate information submitted through the platform is protected by immutable timestamps and ownership locks. Candidate data is only visible to authorised recruiters and relevant client contacts. We comply with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 regarding the handling of personal information.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via an in-app notice at least 14 days before changes take effect.
